Dolly on Alisa Craig
Lewis and I took a boat trip out to Alisa Craig today. It's 12 miles out and it's a little boat, the waves didn't look like much but it was fairly choppy at points. There is a lighthouse with some old building to explore, it was a bit of a time warp but fascinating to see. We found a nice spot to have a picnic and watched the seals fishing. The boat took us round to the far side to see all of the sea birds, Lewis got to see his first ever puffins and was delighted. We also saw a large selection of gulls, gannets, shags, cormorants and others I couldn't quite identify. I fell asleep for a good bit of the journey back, thank you to my travel sickness tablets, which was good as it was much rougher on the way back.
I've put a couple of photos in the extras, you can see out boat in the one with Lewis.
