Spring Green

Ferns again?  I hear you cry.  Well, yes.  These are not the Trump impersonators of the other day -- they are a different type of fern, and believe it or not, yesterday there was very little sign of them at all!  All the rain we got must have had a magical and beneficial effect on them, because now they are a good 10" or 11" tall, and unfurling themselves enthusiastically.

We had a lovely Easter Sunday with our son Tom and his family -- both grandsons were so excited about the treats left for them by the Easter Bunny, but sadly I failed to get even one decent photograph of either Elliott or Henry (let alone of the two of them together!).  Too much running around, and then melt downs occurred swiftly followed by naps!  The extra shows their new puppy, Freya bonding with the Easter Bunny toy we brought for her.  She loves it!
