Weikersheim Palace

Visit to Weikersheim Palace in compensation for our disappointing visit to Versailles - we left the waiting queue after 90 minutes and missed it out all together. Although small in size the palace and garden followed their grand model- Versailles - as perfectly as money could pay for. The place is well known for its statues showing antique Gods and heroes as well as dwarfs depicting the court officials, which was an honour in the first place, but they had to be smaller than the classical figures.
