Emma (left) with her best friend Gemma. At nursery they were inseparable, but they went to different schools, and then Gemma's parents went to Australia.

Today they met up again after 20 months. Both looking forward to it with all their hearts, both more than slightly nervous when they arrived. But the friendship has survived and they were playing together again like the co-podded peas they always have been.
