RED

Red for Danger?

Stumbled across this little creature while out enjoying a bit of sunshine (well mainly shade coverd in sun cream and a silly looking hat) 
Macro picture so he is quite small about half the size of a ladybird. Does anyone know what it is?

I thought maybe a tick? but the ticks Ive seen were more brownish coloured.
