The Brae

CCN and I plucked up courage and headed out onto the Great Western Highway this morning. We felt if we could get away early enough we may miss the horrendous Easter traffic making its way back to Sydney after the four day break. Happily we were right about that. We wanted to visit a garden in Leura that is only open to the public on a couple of days a year. The Brae is a private property that has been lovingly developed by its owners over the past 20 years. Honestly, it was absolutely stunning. We were only able to cover approximately half of the garden but will come back when it is open in spring to see the other half. I have posted an extra of CCN posing for me on one of the verdant grass pathways.
