Carron Dams

Easter morning at church was followed by a lazy afternoon - it had been a busy few days with one thing and another - and then I went out in the late afternoon for a walk around the Carron Dams Local Nature Reserve, near Larbert.

The sun was still shining and it was pleasantly warm, rather than hot. The trail around the reserve was quite quiet - I think I met only two or three other people during the time I was there and, apart from one or two interruptions by barking dogs, the only sound I could hear was birdsong.

Idyllic and peaceful - my kind of afternoon!
