ANOTHER OWL

A Tawny Owl, which flew from the conifer to the beech tree this morning as I washing up after breakfast. It was mobbed by other birds so after a little while it flew back to the conifer and was well hidden from view. The birds were making a lot of noise and fuss round the conifer yesterday so we are wondering whether the Owl had been roosting in there all day too. Am hoping we see it fly out at dusk.

The extra is a small umbrella shaped tree I have had for quite a few years, but seems to be about to flower. It has never done that before, and I’ve lost the label and have no idea what it is!
