Cold Knap Walk

We detoured pass the Bank Holiday traffic to reach Cold Knap, next to Cardiff Airport where we parked infront of Barry Castle: this was wise as the greedy council had decided to charge £2.50 for the Bank Holiday  parking at Porthkerry Country Park which is normally free!

Cold Knap is devoid of sand but is popular for watching the planes take off and land at the airport over The Bristol Channel. Not many large planes today. I did like this lone yacht sailing by and with the stones I think it makes a great minimalist photo with its layers.
