Opposites

       Judging from the number of entries this monoMonday (at about mid-day AZ time; BST -8 or GMT -7) this must be a difficult challenge - but then again it is a holiday in the UK.

      I ran a mental checklist of opposites: light/dark; sharp/dull; hard/soft; wet/dry; left/right; right/wrong; black/white; verso/recto; dexter/sinister; gloss/matt . . . you get the idea. I had an idea and went down to the river to execute it - but the irrigation pump was no longer running so there went my initial idea. And of course it is cloudy with flat light today so no nice shadows for contrast so all my shots of contrasting still and rushing water; the dry of the opposite bank and the river were a bit high key. Then I found this shell . . . and I have an opposing thumb . . . colour version in extra.
