Supermarket tulips

We meant to go to Dr Neil’s Physic Garden but we were too lazy today. People are out after dark in t-shirts, shouting madly after drinking too much in the sun. I have to remind myself that it’s only April and we’re still in tulip time.

Instead of going to the Physic Garden we went to the supermarket to buy quiche and red wine vinegar and the makings of a Greek salad. We always meet people we know, even though it’s only a ten-minute walk, and we met Billy who is a very useful drummer but today was delivering pizzas because there is little money in rock ‘n’ roll.
