Splashing Time

I have spent the day at Slimbridge watching and photographing the behaviours of the birds - including the many swans.  A lot of their time is spent in preening and cleaning themsleves.  This juvenile still has the brownish colouring but behaving just like an adult,

The flamingos were as noisy and argumentative as ever and the kingfisher elusive - a few flashes of blue were all I managed to see,  So many images to sift through at some point.
