I was in town today. It was cold and blustery, just like it should be. I was thrilled to be caught up in the excitement of last minute Christmas shopping. There was a real sense of romance in the air, the soft lights swaying on the trees, lots of couples mooching about shops. I didn't listen to hear if they were arguing or not, I expect some of them had reached their limit.

It was delightful to come home to a warm house, where everyone who belongs is here. I shut the door, put the kettle on, turned just the fairy lights on and sat in the twinkly light with a coffee and a little mince pie. Just wee Scarlett to get home and our Christmas will be magical. Hurry Up Scarlett!
