She pays the Landlord's wage

Staff Christmas meal out tonight at a local restaurant/pub. Since giving up drink a few years back I am very rarely in such places, and I think Jnr Jnr was a bit wide-eyed at the new environment. Soon as she saw the bar stool she asked to sit on it, and remained there until Mrs H turned up to drag her home.

Damn fine food, damn fine company. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I love the people I work with. Laughed loads tonight.

And a much better day too, even if my sinuses and head seem to be telling me that the cold is coming back. Not what I wanted for Christmas.
