Seaside Treasure

Dark, wet and windy today. Not much chance of an outdoor photo so here is some of my shell collection....shells gathered on my holidays though-out Britain - from as far south as the Isle of Wight, Dorset, and Cornwall, as far east as Suffolk, and as far north-east as East Lothian, Aberdeenshire and Orkney!

They include:
Common wentletrap (nobbly spiral - top right)
Tower shell (pointed spiral - top right)
Cowrie (little white shell, bottom middle)
Pelican's foot shell (bottom left)
Grey top shell (with pearl bit and a hole, centre left)
Striped venus (bottom left)
Banded wedge shell (yellow, centre right), and
A tiny fragment of sea urchin shell (purple spotted , bottom right).
