Bluebells

I drove into the lakes this morning to do a similar walk to the one at the weekend but adding Rydal.  I parked at White Moss and was almost the first car there.  From there to Penny Rock and Deerbolts Wood and then doubled back along Loughrigg Terrace (Grasmere one extras) to Rydal Water.  Everywhere I went there was a wonderful fragrance of bluebells.  Magnificent.

It wasn't as sunny as it was at the weekend but it was very still which gave way to amazing reflections.  

A quick coffee at the well known household store in Windermere and a quick stop in at Blackwell for lunch.

Home to find an invitation to drinks with our neighbours upstairs this evening.  Nice.
