Rhapsody in Blue ....

The Blue Jays have been very active in our yard of late .... and I couldn't be happier about it!  They have such character that you just can't help but to love them. 

After grocery shopping this morning I sat in the sunroom and photographed the birds and squirrels.  I was a little surprised when the little black-capped chickadee in my extra came down to the feeding table ... but happy I was able to get this one shot. 

After supper we went to Housenick Park for a short walk .... and I'm happy to report that we saw our first Gray Catbird!!!!! YAY!  I love these birds and I'm looking forward to seeing them in our backyard ... hopefully soon!
