Last Remnants

It's almost May and the temperature hit 20C today but we still have the remains of the snow which came avalanching down off our roof months ago.
We have tried breaking it up but it's too much like hard work. It is actually frozen solid still. If you look carefully you will see a second lot beyond in the background behind the wheelbarrow.
Today was a day for gardening and especially with the pruning of the apple trees. I shall reward myself tonight with a trip out after dark to see if I can shoot some stars.
