Happy Birthday #OU50

Today is the Open University's 50th birthday. The Royal Charter was signed in 1969 and that established the university; the first students were enrolled in 1971. This blip is my OU Graduate's tie - a friend bought it for me in 1998 when I finished my degree and I wore it to my degree ceremony in 1999. I think I might have worn it for my first interview to be an OU tutor - that was in 1999 too.
