The Early Bird

.......... catches the worm.

Had a hair appointment in Newport this morning which I made with time to spare so a quick walk by the canal where I saw one Swan and this little Robin, very intent on the job in hand!

On the way back from Newport I called in on 'Matilda' to offload the dry goods before tomorrow's departure to Wales and then stopped off at a friends house who I hadn't had a good catch up with in years, and did. ..... Now I'm late home and have so much to do. Dinner for a start and packing. I've remembered the camera, of course; must remember to put the knitting and crochet in.

Wonderwool here we come, but not until Saturday. Will try to keep in touch.
