The amelanchier was he first tree we planted here.  It's blossom is always a highlight of spring.  It is positioned  outside a window and is glorious sight as we make our way from bedroo to kitchen.  Last year there were loads of berries and I used some of them to make jam - pretty good it was.  The blip of the blossom is against a background of honesty which I raised from seed.  The flowers are disappearing so time to say thanks to them for their recent show.
