The little Mermaid

As a Birthday present my boys gave me a 3 hour private walking tour of Copenhagen ( I took it a day early!) so in the beautiful sunshine this morning we set off. We had a great guide and saw so much but of course we had to visit the iconic Little Mermaid - it is probably more photographed than any of the magnificent royal statues in the city.

It would be hard not to notice that the most popular means of transport in Copenhagen is the bicycle and the first extra shows some of them no doubt used by politicians outside the parliament building.
