Purple ...

A shot at an arty photo of two lovely rhododendrons in Benmore Gardens today. The carpet of petals under the further bush was particularly appealing when we came upon it, though in truth there were so many lovely things to photograph that I was pushed for choice. I was also pushed for time, as we had choir tonight and I'd disobeyed my own rule about taking it easy and eating mid-afternoon to give us the chance of a rest before it. (Poor old souls ...) But the sun was shining, and I'd spent the morning in much busyness, checking that the choir ad was in the paper for this week, printing and then guillotining tickets for our forthcoming concert ...

Anyway I got it all done. Think of this photo of purpleness as a return to normal service, with no thought of episcopal purple or anything else ...
