Found my wellies

Someone hid them in the boot (for people Stateside that is the trunk) of my car. When I said I found them, unfortunately I got another job. My mother in law gave us a pot bound plant so I had to build a hole to put it in. 
What is a pot bound plant?  Is that something you get for half price or is is edible?

Anyway I constructed the hole and put it into it. It doesn't look well but maybe with some tender and loving care (not from me I might add) it might come back to life. I wonder should it be feed with hard-boiled eggs like the the tadpoles yesterday?
