Habit

My mother still has the habit and coordination to go through the moves of tying her shoelaces, but the results aren't always up to her standards. She likes them tied tightly. When she ended up with a loose bow and a long strand, she said, "I'll just tuck that in here." When I offered to redo it for her, she said, "You're such a nice person."
