Waiting to burst out

I didn't need to drag myself to work today, but I took things quietly and dealt with unanswered emails all morning apart from a couple of brief meetings. The afternoon was more meetings, until I left and arrived home early. Before getting worn out.

The deep red rose on the deck has produced five tight buds, which should explode into beautiful flowers in the near future.
