Now, this is a first!

Dear Diary,

I’ve just started a new book, a mystery set on the island of Lindisfarne.  While I was reading and eating breakfast, I noticed that the little calendar I made of my trip to Scotland last September showed a photograph of the Holy Island.  This is a first.  I’ve never read a book that coordinated with my calendar before!  I thought that was kind of cool.
