Morton Hall

We went on a guided tour of Morton Hall gardens near Inkberrow (not to be confused with the NT property Little Moreton Hall)

It's a private garden which opens for group tours by appointment and is well worth the visit.   

It specialises in tulips and holds a tulip festival in May.   This year the tulips are early so we saw them at their best.   Jane has blipped a wider view of the tulip garden.

My extra shows the stunning view off the escarpment on which the hall is perched.

The only problem today was that the heavens opened and we got absolutely drenched half way through the tour.    We dried out over a delicious cream tea provided as part of the tour.
