Spaniel Spin Cycle

Today was forecast to be the last truly nice day for a little while, so a quick blast out with Missy to a new found swimming spot. Like most spaniels she's a complete water baby already.

Sadly I also found what must have been well over a hundred meters of electrical cable in the beck. We were a long way from anywhere so I'm guessing it's been washed to this spot by flooding, maybe even Storm Desmond (2015) which did a lot of damage in this area.
I spent a long while hauling it as far as the bridleway, but there was no way I could carry it 2 miles back to the car. Even though its technically in the Lake District National Park I spoke to the very local Dale's Ranger and he'll go collect it in a pick-up.
Good deed done.
