Upside Down House, Tartu

Across the road there are disused aircraft hangers - used by the Germans when they occupied Estonia during WW11 then the Russians took over the country until the early 1990's and rather liked this strategic airstrip & base so they closed Tartu to foreigners. Visited the KGB museum today too. Its a strange holiday pastime visiting museums about holocaust & Russian occupation but it's good to get a sense of the spirit of people in these remarkable countries.
