East Cape Lighthouse...

The walk up the 800 steps was worth it. Only wish we had done it for sunrise. We stayed in a little town called Te Araroa which had a Four Square, Police Station, sport club rooms which was also the takeaway food store, an RSA and some council buildings. I was surprised that there was no pub!
