My Desert is almost gone....

.....its all go at Salisbury Downs today.  Hunky men, excavators, compactors, trucks and all things needed to move soil and form drives.  I am very happy to have it tidied up so well and am also very grateful to them for working so hard on the last day of the year for them.  They start their holiday break from tonight.

Aidan and I did the BIG supermarket shop this morning.....I'm poorer by $500 and it will probably only last a few days once all the tribe arrive.

Doug and I are off out in an hour.....its his work doo and we have been invited to join them.  Well, he had worked three quarters of the year for them.  We catch a bus at 3 pm and go on a mystery trip - could get messy, but will be fun.
