Field trip

My second field trip to Fort Vancouver, this time with Alexa, her mom, and her 4th grade school mates. It’s a very interesting place, and old Hudson Bay company outpost, dating back to the early days of Oregon and the Northwest. We saw blacksmiths in action, heard about the fur trade and life in those days. I was seriously envious of the huge garden kept by volunteers, growing everything one can imagine!
