Spring Icons - Rhubarb

These three rhubarb shoots pushed up through the snow and were already in position as the snow melted back, earlier today. One of them, hanging of the edge of my picture, even has a leaf on the way.
After a number of years on Blipfoto I've noticed I photograph what I think of as iconic seasonal happenings. Rhubarb seems to be one of those icons, with blips in 2017 and 2016. In both those years I blipped on 3rd May so it's earlier this year, but that's no surprise with the warm days we've been having.
I guess it's time to abandon my "spring/winter" tag, and go over to "spring".
