Fingers crossed....

Yesterday there were five eggs on this nest, and the pen was sitting on them. This morning, when I got there she was  off and wandering around a little way from the nest, and I could only see one egg. I am so hoping that the other four are buried. As you can see, the nest is very close to the edge of the Longwater - not a particularly safe area really.
I will check again in the morning..
