Festive

Abstract Thursday has its 200 anniversary today, so it’s a big thank you to two special blip people :
YouOregon1 for having the initial and brilliant idea, his encouragement and enthusiasm made me try ideas and effects that until then l had never thought of.
Then dear Ingeborg who took over as host and has worked tirelessly to think up so many new themes.
It’s the fitting theme of Festive this week and it was nearly the first time l couldn’t think of what to do.

Rebecca gave me a lift into Leeds this morning and as we drove through the village of Bramhope it was wonderful to see all the bunting and decorations put out for the Tour de Yorkshire cycle race which rides through there next weekend.
Looked festive to me :-)
