Wonderful day out

We dodged the downpours well on a really super Arts Society outing.

First of all we stayed two hours in Bridgnorth, exploring. I’ve only ever whizzed through on the way to somewhere else and it was great to discover the architecture, the famous views. And the funicular (Extra).

On then to Berrington Hall, with Capability Brown’s final parkland design. Also terrific.

I had some super stately home photos, but this noisy and friendly goldfinch stole my blip.
