Well that's a surprise!

I've been clamped to the computer all day processing the last of the weekend's photos with no thought to a blip.  Tony was out and about doing all nature of jobs related to the allotment then he broke off to fill the bird feeders, and that's when he called me downstairs.  Some time ago we purchased these animal proof containers so that we could store the bird food out in the glory box but they don't live up to their claim!  We new we had a mouse in there because I'd found it once when I took the lid off the fat bits, but this was a complete surprise!

So we have left them to it.  The babies are alive but the mother may have deserted them after the shock of Tony lifting the lid, we shall see.  For now we will leave them be.  If she returns she may move them, then eventually we will have to deal with more than one mouse!
