Bluebell
It was a very strange day, with weather rolling across us in successive waves. I was still trying to get a decent shot of an insect on the apple blossom, but eventually I got tired of dashing out into the garden with the macro every time the rain stopped and the sun came out, only to find that by the time the bugs also ventured out yet another band of rain cloud was approaching. It was also very windy, which wasn't helping either the blossom, the insects, the photography, or my temper.
So in the end I stopped en route back to the house to avoid yet another downpour - which was worth avoiding on this occasion because it turned out to be hail - and picked a stem from my patch of Spanish bluebells to use for an indoor light pad shot. This is a stack of four frames, blended in Photoshop and then fartnarkled around with in Lightroom.
