Smardale

A lovely walk today along the Smardale Nature Reserve trail, with Jane and Jean, and Pepper and Bob.
We went right along to the packhorse bridge and round. We got caught in a shower but not drenched.
The new car park is excellent and there was even a volunteer to welcome us and give directions.
I am looking forward to visiting again in a few weeks when the butterflies should be active.
