The prettier way home

Had to call into the sorting office tonight to collect my passport which had been returned with a shiny new visa in it, ready for my upcoming trip.

So I decided to take the prettier route home, through Wardown Park, Pope's Meadow and People's Park, parkland for almost all of the walk home.

I paused on the way, as did the sunshine which disappeared off of the water fountain, but I did mange to grab a quick shot when these birds took off.
