Field Trip

Wonderful day today with 4 friends on an outing to Bainbridge Island to their museum to see a show of artists books!   We could walk on the ferry and survey the amazing destruction of the viaduct by the waterfront…had to be the blip..as it changes...Supposedly it’s 3 weeks behind schedule…what a lot of work and fascinating to watch those jaws just take bites of the concrete.   Extra is the waterfront which will be historical showing the viaduct destruction in proces…but you’d have to enlarge it to appreciate it. 

Walk to the museum.  The book arts show was inspirational for me…there are many talented artists out there…extra is a book  with selection of NW scenes that could be interchanged…all first photographed.  got some ideas ..and a bonus was another show there of an artist who works entirely with paper…(EVERYTHING is paper!)      Coffee first and lunch later in their super cafe and back on the ferry and the bus.  Very fiun day.
