Flying Squirrel

This little fellow has been hanging around the house and front porch..... enjoying the dog food and any other little tidbits it can find....

we captured this shot (actually terry did!) around 1 am this morning!!!

My dog.... Zoe, the hound dog..... decided to stay out a little past her usual time of around 10pm....so at 1am when she still wasn't home i was getting pretty worried so we got dressed (i had been in bed for about 2 hours!) and with flashlights we headed off into the dark, calling her name!!! i wasn't in a good humor i can tell you!!! After about 10-15 minutes we gave up and decided to try and go to sleep - i knew that wasn't going to be easy!

Eventually, around 1.45am i heard her at the back door and let her in! Such a mixture of feelings at this point.... relief and a bit pissed of at her... so this morning we gave her a stern lecture and now she has a 8pm curfew... that'll teach her to go cruising with the coyotes after midnight.... i wonder which bar they hung out at????
