Modern Eat

I was invited out with my husband's team at work for a Christmas meal. They're such a nice bunch, and I held it together completely until during my steak course when the resolve crumbled a little. I know they were missing him too.

Before that I had after work drinks with someone from my team who's leaving for a career change. I know I'm going to miss him too!

Uncle Bob looked after the dogs (they'll have been in their element) while K and I socialised!
