National Cycling Competitions

Got such a shock this morning when I dashed down to the local grocery store. I got to the bottom of the hill and the street was closed and had to take a detour. There were 550 cyclists in town with all their support groups.
It is the national age group championships plus veterans.  Today it was time trials and tomorrow road racing and am not sure what on Sunday

More improvement in back today so life is looking up. Made soup and pies for neighbours that are shifting to ChCh in the morning. I felt really sad when I went to say goodbye, such good people.
