Is it the start of a flower?

Today everyone in the office was given a nondescript plastic keyring, the size of a pound coin with the firm logo on one side and the recycle logo on the other, for participating in the nation wide (maybe international)  environmental quiz yesterday. Did anyone stop to think what the carbon foot print is to produce thousands of 10 gram pieces of plastic with little metal fixings, packing them and transporting them all over the country (maybe to offices worldwide)?

As long as we can tick a box, all must be well with the world.
