The wrong cat

I had to take Snowflake to the vet the other day as she has been scratching her ears so much, she was causing these horrible little scabs. I was a bit worried about something disgusting like ringworm or scabies, but was told that she is being bitten by insects, and the bites are irritating her. According to the vet, Snowflake is the wrong sort of cat for Cyprus, with her lovely long fur proving to be irresistible to the little critters which survive into the winter due to our mild temperatures. So I'm packing Snowflake up today and sending her to Norway. I think she'll be happy there, she certainly didn't seem fussed when I broke the news to her earlier.
