Happily

Last year I went to a school reunion and met up with former school friends. We had a happy day exploring the extensively improved school premises, and remembering those days so long ago.
They were selling mugs which had been produced to commemorate 125th anniversary of the school and of course I bought one. The outside has an artistic interpretation of the school buildings, and inside is the school motto, Fortiter, Feliciter, Fideliter, strongly, happily, faithfully. I have always thought what a good motto it is to live by.
It was happily this morning that I was out in the garden, planting, weeding and dead heading daffodils, tulips and even bluebells. Now it is raining again, it has been a day of April showers.
