Homemaker

Big nephew is really working hard to make his new home into a beautiful place reflecting his personality - strong and independent.  He has been doing his lounge over the last couple of days and was putting a few of the finishing touches to it when we dropped in this morning.  I am very flattered that he wants one of my leaf photos to go on the wall slightly to his left from where he is sitting.

Another lovely thing from today was Dad phoning us at 9 am to ask us if we had any white spirit and he was full of enthusiasm to get his meter box doors and window sills in his porch painted in the lovely dark blue paint we got colour matched for him the other day.  I haven't seen him wanting to do things like that for a very long time.  Hope he remembered to cover the new floor!  This could be a blip one day!
