Gathering gloom
This view down the Clyde this afternoon suggests that the end was nigh, though in fact there was only a brief shower and it's now much brighter. But I loved the green of the sea as it approached the pebbly beach of Dunoon's West Bay, and the roar - which you can hear on a video I made at the same time - of the pebbles being sucked back into the waves.
For a contrast, my extra photo is of the azalea in the middle of my front garden, on the point of bursting out in bloom. You can tell that the satellite photo of my house on Google Earth was taken in May, as the bright red circle of it shows clearly ...
